2009 World Baseball Classic

Panama competed in the 2009 World Baseball Classic, Playing its games in Pool D at San Juan, Puerto Rico. After losses to pool host Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic, Panama was ousted from the tournament without scoring a single run. They finished in 15th place overall, just ahead of South Africa.
